Are Zetithian Women Just as Sexy as the Men from Zetith?

I always enjoy being a guest here on Love Romance Passion, because that’s pretty much what my books are about! My name is Cheryl Brooks, and I write a sexy sci-fi romance series called The Cat Star Chronicles. My heroes are all natives of the planet Zetith, and if you’re familiar with the series, you’ll know that Zetithian men are the hottest lovers in the galaxy—so hot, in fact, that a jealous man set out to destroy their race entirely. He’s succeeded in blowing up their planet and has placed a bounty on any survivors, but has been unable to stop the determined few who are intent on saving their species and bringing him to justice.

The first five books of the series feature a group of soldiers who were captured near the end of the war and sold into slavery. Zetithians are humanoids with feline characteristics, and though the males are able to crossbreed with other species, Zetithian females are a different story.

Ever since the third book, Rogue, came out, readers have been asking me if Trag, the brother who doesn’t get the girl, would ever be featured in his own book. Yes, I would reply, he does, but not until book six. I fell for Trag just as hard as those readers did, and I was saving something very special for him: Out of all the men in the series, he was going to be the one to find a Zetithian girl.

When I first pitched the idea for Hero to my editor, she was excited to have a Zetithian female in the series, knowing how sensuous and sexy a Zetithian woman would be. With her feline features and sleek, cat-like grace, Micayla is all of that and more, but the reason the Zetithian guys are so hot is because the gals just aren’t interested. Orphaned at a young age, Micayla has grown up on Earth ignorant of her origins, but has been unable to find love because Earth guys don’t do a thing for her. She’s taken a job on a remote space station hoping to find answers to her questions, only to discover that such knowledge can be dangerous.

When Hero opens, Trag is still secretly carrying a torch for his brother’s mate, but tells everyone he’s holding out for a Zetithian girl, mainly because he knows he’ll never find one. His job as the pilot for an arms dealer has taken him to the far reaches of the galaxy, and though he’s seen plenty of strange and wondrous things, he is totally unprepared for what happens when he and Micayla meet.

Micayla has stumbled onto the truth behind Zetith’s destruction and is running for her life when she lands aboard Trag’s ship. Unfortunately, the first thing she does is hiss at him! With no experience wooing a Zetithian female, Trag is at a loss to understand why the two of them mix like oil and water when everyone else is expecting them to be lovers.

Trag is definitely one of my all-time favorite heroes. Sexy, funny, tough, and opinionated, he kept me entertained throughout the writing process. Micayla is just as tough as Trag and as intelligent as she is beautiful. I had a blast pitting these two strong personalities against each other, and I hope my readers will enjoy their verbal sparring as much as I did. So, if you’re looking for love, romance, and passion, hop aboard my starship and discover what Zetithian men mean when they promise to give you joy unlike any you have ever known. Trust me, once you go “cat,” you’ll never go back!

I am a huge fan of the Cat Star Chronicles. I read this series out of order initially, but now I impatiently wait for each offering! Finally Trag has his book and will find a mate of his own!

Hey Cheryl…Just popped over to wish you a good day. I’ve been bike riding with a sexy man dude and only have a few minutes until he recovers…we’re planning a picnic of the best kind;)

You already know I love the entire Cat Star Chronicle series but I have to tell you, I refuse to let go of Manx in FUGITIVE. Still, that still leaves multitudes to latch on to Trag in HERO;)

One of my favorite characters in HERO is Hidur and what happens with anyone strokes his wings. Cracks me up every time I think about it. I do love your dry sense of humor:) Later gator:)

Thanks for dropping by, Nancy! Hidar was a lot of fun, even if he was a bug!

What about Lerotan/Leroy will he get his own book? A man with two dicks sounds fab. Wraggles eyebrows. ;)

Trag and Leo are still my two favorite Zetithians. I just loved poor Trag though. And really felt he got the short end of the stick in Rogue. I had hoped the Menage would have lasted in Rogue. But that’s not the Zetithian way. So poor Trag had to leave with a broken heart. I’m so glad Cheryl wrote him a strong women to love. And Tame him. I just get so involved with these purring lovers. And I enjoy all the fun Alien Characters. And Hero had two of the best. Hidur and Leroy. So thanks again for keeping the Joy coming.

Love the Cat Star Chronicle series and can’t wait to read Hero and see Trag finally get his woman…I’m hoping that Leroy will eventually get a chance to tell his story, sure it would be equally entertaining…

Keira,
I’d love to write a book about Leroy, but so far, nobody has offered to publish it. I purposely didn’t write a detailed love scene with him because I was sort of saving him for later. You never know when I guy with a tail will come in handy!

Hi Estella!

Donna,
Actually, the menage would have lasted for at least one more scene, but my editor said No, I could only do it once! Sad, but true….

I’m always on the lookout for good scifi, and this definitely sounds up my alley! I’m adding this series to my TBR list just because it seems like the awesome series I was expecting out of Joan D Vinge’s Catspaw series and never got! Sign me up for the giveaway, I’m excited to start this series as soon as possible!
