I love LOTR and rewatch it at least once a year. Never really got into the Harry Potter series. It's been great keeping company with you on your book tour, Teal, now just sit back and relax. Happy holidays.

I love LOTR, if only for the eyecandy. lol, but seriously the trilogy does encompass an amazing fantasy story and Orlando Bloom is a big plus with long blond hair and elfin ears. :-)

I'm also a big Harry Potter fan. Hopefully I'll find the time to sit down this year for a movie marathon. I was somewhat disappointed in the movie version of The Half Blood Prince. The book was grand and the movie should have been so much more.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only Sirius Black/Gary Oldman freak around. He still makes me tingly all these years after Dracula. lol

LoL.. I imagine it must have been wonderful working in the films but it's easy to see that your real passion is for writing. I am really excited to read your books.

Please enter me in the giveaway.

Hi Susi! ~waving!!~ Did your cell phone ever recover??

I love the Appendices on LoTR --aren't they great? They take longer to watch than the movies themselves! Good lord, the efforts they took over those movies is just staggering....like making the chain mail, for instance. Yikes!

And I have a new appreciation for John Rhys Davies and what he put up with for his role.

Well, all of them, really. Viggo Mortenson broke his toe in one scene...and kept on playing the scene!!! He didn't even stop the cameras. They only found out after the scene was in the can. Sheesh!

Hey Teal,
I so hear you about LotR. It has become a family tradition for us to watch the extended DVDs on Xmas. Love them to pieces. We watch them really often through the whole year. That means one movie in four days. We start where we zoned out the night before. I also love the Appendices...yep we are absolutely addicted to these. Can't wait for the Hobbit movie.
Don't include me into the giveaway. I already read it!
Hope you have a great week and wonderful holidays!
Hugs,
Susi

Yes and it was ridiculous too. Nothing like she taunted and teased about for years. Last word, scar, ha.

I loved Sirius too. It's too bad the movies cut out 90% of his character. Kind of like they did with poor Dobby and Kreacher. What happens to Dobby in HP7 is going to mean nothing, well if they show it, but you know what mean. They might add details in movies not in the books but they also cut a whole heck of a lot out.
