Thank you Karin and Samanther. I am very glad you took the time to read my interview and to respond.

I have seen the BBC version, although not until after watching the movie. I enjoyed it very much, but simply was not moved as I was with the movie. Overall I look at the numerous Austen-related movies/books/etc. as additional ways to express aspects of her work. It is all good as far as I am concerned.

Thank you Keira. I really appreciate your comments. Oh, you will love the fella I am talking about! He is wonderful. :)

Vee & Karin - I can only take a small marginal bit of credit to the greatness of this interview. Most if not all praise should go to Sharon. She's been such a treat to write and talk to... btw I can't wait to meet the character you'd like to be in the next book. That should be very interesting!

Samanther - I like the BBC version, but you have to definitely devote time to it. I usually play it, focus intently on the parts that I love (wet white shirt) and do something like clean. lol

Makes me want to read P&P again, and then this one! Excellent interview, and informative indeed. Especially interesting: how the internet and forum posts/threads played such a role in the creative process.

Any thoughts on the BBC version?

Congratulations Keira and Sharon on a great interview, it was highly informative and entertaining.
Apart from loving the glorious novel you have written Sharon it is great fun to read how your mind works and your thought process in this crazy world of publishing. And just simply to hear how much you love the characters you're writing about.
Because I have been a long time fan of JA's novels (not particularly her own life) I appreciate anyone who loves her characters and is brave enough to continue their relationship into marriage. Thus enhancing my love of Darcy and Lizzy.
Of course everyone has a right to their own opinion but I (as a devoted fan of JA's novels for 29yrs) personally hold Sharon's as my favourite sequel.
Don't think this first novel is it! Because the next three/four novels will add to the whole wonderful Saga rounded it off brilliantly!
I have come to love visiting Darcy (my absolute fav) and Lizzy through Sharon's novels and I am sure many many more readers will to!
