I disagree. I think Movie 5 was choppy — and Movie 6 went in another direction than Book 6 for the most part.

The important parts that set up the Deathly Hallows were all left out.

Severus mutter a two-liner at the end of the film, before he kicks Harry’s wand out of his hand because Harry tried to hex him, does not equate following the story.

As a movie it’s a 5, hands down. As a book adaptation it’s a 3. Period.

In my opinion, I give it a 4. But that’s just me.

I mean I could go on and on listing the things I didn’t like — but you have a “no spoilers” up on your review, so I’ll keep my mouth shut for now, lol. Don’t want to spoil it for people who might be reading this.

(The gag reflex was never induced in me! I loved where this book took relationships.)
