I so wish I could participate in this challenge. My unread category romance pile is massive. Unfortunately, there’s just no way I’ll have the time to get through 30 books (!) this month. I think I’d have trouble with half that. So I’ll participate in a half-assed way and just focus on reading as many of the categories in my TBR pile as I can.

Reading < Writing
Reading > Writing

One goes up the other goes down. There’s never an = because there’s more going on in life than just those two things.

30 books in a month? I’m kinda jealous, actually. I barely have time for 2 a month and that’s stretching it a bit. I fondly remember the days when I could read like that. Course, writing does get in the way lol.

Plus I owe you a review on The Trials of the Honorable F. Darcy which I’ve read but have yet to write a reveiw of.

I bet you can read 30 books and here’s why:

1. Usually categories are kinda small.

2. The text is a bit larger nowadays in categories compared older categories.

3. DNF (did not finish) books count.

4. You could have more reading time if you gave cooking and cleaning duties to hubby.

5. Claim you’re on errands and go find a nice spot to sit and read.

OTOH, I only require proof (reviews) of three read (which is 1/10th of the books suggested to read) to enter the contest. lol

Keira, the only way I could possibly read 30 books in one month is:

#1 If I found a Delomelanicon, and I bargained with Remi for the power to read in my sleep.

#2 Only if Donald Trump hired me a maid, a cook, and a babysitter.

#3 By ignoring moral/ethical guidelines and cloning myself 10 times. Each Susan could choose three books from the series, and we’d finish all 30 within the given month.

#4 If my boss said to me, “I’m feeling generous. I’ll advance you a month’s pay, just stay home, and do nothing.”

#5 Use a confundus charm to confuse readers into thinking I actually read 30 books.

#6 By using the ocularis biblio to speed read all 30 books in under five minutes. (I made that charm up in case you’re wondering)

#7 If I act within the next five minutes by ordering six CD’s and course guide to learn how to speed read for only $200.

#8 I could just take a nap instead, and dream about how nice it would be to actually read 30 books.

#9 A magic lamp with a genie would grant me three wishes. I could wish for the ability to speed read without paying the $200.

#10 My second wish would be for the authors to orally narrate their books to me. They read while I type my notes, and my review. (How cool would that be)
