I really love to read Rebecca's insights on her book and the period in which the book is set. I can't wait to start reading books in 'The Pemberley Chrnonicles' series. Although I have already bought up till Book 5, I have yet the time to read them. Since your rules states that I must live in US or Canada and I'm not, do not enter me to this contest. Thank you.

Thanks for the chance to win. The books look great! I have always loved romance novels. When I was a kid I remember reading all those pre-teen novels. My question to Rebecca is when did you start reading romance novels?

I look forward in reading these books. My question is what is your opinion of book trailers? Do you think they increase book sales?

Thanks.

How true! We are great fans of jane Austen and Rebecca Collins and agree with the post which points out that many thousands of "ordinary English families" lived out their lives during that time, falling in love, marrying and bringing up their kids without ending up as cads or mistresses of Regency bucks.
Jane Austen wrote in this period and her books do not suggest that all her characters were part of the lurid Regency court circle where bad behaviour was a badge of honor.
We think the Pemberley books have got it right- like Austen, they tell stories of real people and their families and we love them. My Cousin Caroline is one of the best- the love affair and marriage of the gallant Colonel Fitzwiliam and young Caroline Gardiner is a beautiful story well told.
And for those who want more of Darcy and Lizzy, there's plenty of that too.
Thanks for your lovely blog.
