Summary: In this 5th book of the Coda series, Cole and Jonathan (Strawberries for Dessert) are getting married in Paris. They invite their Coda friends Jared and Matt (Promises) and Zach and Angelo (A to Z). Even though it will be an all-expenses paid trip by Cole there are two in the party who are don’t really want to go: Matt and Zach. Since Cole and Jared have a past, Matt cannot stand that Cole still touches and flirts with Jared. In his head, he knows that he is being unreasonable, but he can’t control his emotions. Zach has no desire to see Jon. Their breakup 10 years ago was an unpleasant one and running into him 2 years ago while with Angelo in Las Vegas caused problems.

Review: I was hoping that Sexton would write a story where all the guys would get together. So when I saw this I immediately downloaded and devoured it in about two hours (it is a novella). Sexton delivered exactly what I was looking for! There is hot M/M action. The interactions between the characters are at times funny and other times touching. I don’t know if this will be Sexton’s last Coda book, but if so she has wrapped it all up nicely. Zach in particular had issues to deal with from his and Jon’s broken relationship.

Favorite scenes: There are too many to list them all, but in particular I liked:

Jared listing to Matt all the things he hadn’t done with Cole (whew!).

Those dinners where everyone is teasing Matt. (That Cole is such a cute troublemaker.)

The talk that Zach and Jon have in the hotel suite.

Recommended: Well I can’t recommend this one for those who haven’t read the rest of the series because it brings in aspects from the other books. So go out there and read the rest of this excellent series! That’s your main course. Then read this dessert of a story. It has whipped cream and a cherry on top.

Hey Sharon. Wanted to let you know that I blew through Lanyon’s Adrien English series after you mentioned it the other day. Most excellent. Thanks!

My TBR pile is so huge it’d be hard to find time to squeeze in more books. I have a whole shelf of unread books from back when a friend’s mom gave me her entire collection. Eventually I’ll get to those too but the newer releases have me for now. lol :)

@ Carla- A lot of fans didn’t like Jake, but I did. I am getting ready to start some of his other books. He is such a great writer.
