For the newbies, blog hopping is when you jump from one blog site to another. This should not be confused with bar hopping; which you did in college. All right I’ll rewrite, which is what we did in college. (Hangs head in shame)
Blog hopping mania on the other hand, happens when our TBV (To Be Visited) list expands at an alarming rate.
Before you ask, no this is not found in the DSM-IV and is not a personality nor is it a psychiatric disorder.
You have blog hopping mania if:
You lost count of how many blog contests you’ve entered in the past day, week or month.
You’re receiving 10 invitations daily from publishers and authors to join their Yahoo Groups. This causes you to accept, and then follow their blogs, which leads you back to #1.
Your toolbar is now refusing to add author blog sites onto your favorites list, refusing. Can you imagine? I’m also quite certain, the favorites overload warning isn’t part of BING, Google or MSN.
It’s telling me, “I refuse to add these links onto your favorites.” “I have to draw the line sometime!” I wonder if that’s ever happened to you. Hmmm, maybe I should’ve bought the Toshiba instead. Anyway, if this sounds familiar, then you know just how much fun blog hopping can be. Oops, I have to check St.Martin’s Press blog, hope I win the Bad Moon Rising contest. Already visited TRS Book-a-day, got’a run over to TRS Summer.

I think sequels are a pleasant addition to any beloved series! One of the saddest moments for me as a reader is when I get to the last page of a particularly stimulating series. Hopefully, the ending will have left me feeling fulfilled, but even if I am lucky enough to have my desired happy or not ending, the fact of the matter is, it’s over. I find that when I am reading the last book in a series, I slow down and keep putting it off or I try to read just a little bit when I do pick it up to prolong the experience for as long as possible whereas in earlier books, I plow through them wanting to find out the ending of every cliffhanger and the fate of the characters to whom I have grown the closest.
I recognize that on occasion, some sequels are just bad or are interpretations of the characters’ futures which seem blasphemous to “true” fans, but truth be told, everyone probably has a slightly different idea of the characters’ happily ever after so what’s to stop an author for sharing their version with the world?
So thank you, sequel-authors out there, for giving us one more taste of our favorites.

The last few days Love Romance Passion saw a host of technical errors. The major one disabling the site. I wanted to thank all concerned parties who emailed me or tweeted me to find out what was going on. It took some doing, some head banging, and hours with the support center but everything eventually got sorted out. Hopefully this will not happen again, but rest assured if it does I'll be working behind the scenes laboring to fix the issue.

Hello and good morning readers! This post is going to be a short break from our usually scheduled programming to update everybody on the blog. There are a few new features up in the header, LRP's forum and contests are now their own section.
The forum is ready to go. We’re still in the process of editing it to fit the rest of LRP’s color scheme, but it is now available for readers to use! There are several sections including one for site notices, in which information like this post will be kept instead of stated on the blog. Use LRP’s forum to start group readings, trades and exchanges, discussion on blog posts, books, authors, yourselves. Find others like you who love romance novels!
