Before we dive right into the review, I must first say, “Shame on me.”
Why you might ask? Because I’ve knowingly seen a movie before reading the book. Yesterday I saw He’s Just Not That Into You and loved it. Hilarious. Definitely going on my must buy list for rewatching movie marathons. I’m thinking it’d go great with Devil Wears Prada
The basic plot of He’s Just Not That Into You is showing how different relationships work between men and women – and especially those fledgling relationships on the dating scene. All the characters somehow know each other and could feasibly all end up at the same party. I’ll do a little break down of the characters:
Gigi played by Ginnifer Goodwin was a doll. I just loved her. She’s sort of the main character. Her love life is one bumbling screw up after another. Chasing Conor (Kevin Connolly) leads her to Alex (Justin Long) who sits her down to give her some valuable advice about how men brush women off.
Conor is hopelessly in love with a girl who frankly – is just not that into him. The girl in question is Scarlett Johansson’s character Anna. As far as I can tell Anna is a somewhat decent girl who winds up on the worst path to love I could possibly think of all due to her friend Mary (Drew Barrymore) and her advice. Anna’s end is not particularly happy.
Neil (Ben Affleck) has been in a committed relationship with Beth (Jennifer Aniston) for seven years. Neil is not interested in marriage. Frankly despises the constitution and (if I may put words in his mouth) thinks it’s worse than all the greeting card holidays combined. His friend Ben (Bradley Cooper) is a case in point against marriage. Ben feels like he’s been forced into it and is resenting his wife Janine (Jennifer Connelly) more and more.
How does everything work out? Will everything work out? Who knows but sit back and enjoy the ride. If the book is anything like the movie - snap it up!

I think Jonathan Rhys Meyers would make a wonderful addition to romance covers, don't you? He's such a dish! Absolutely scrumptious! I could watch him all day and I have on one of my Tudor marathons. Thank you for on demand!
