the Regency Romance list of things that make it sexy are very interesting; I like #1 for sure. As I’ve never read a Regency, I don’t have a comment of what makes it sexy but I do like your list; I’m interested.

Hi Amelia,I love the slow pace of there romance,The carriage rides in the park.The rakes of the regency all seem sexy The grand balls with all the fine cloths sound so grand.and of course the earls,dukes etc.all hold there own sex appeal.

I agree, Linda. I wouldn’t want to live in the Regency, but oh, how I would love to visit Hyde Park on a Sunday afternoon or attend a Grand Ball!

I agree with all ten of your comments. There is something inherently sexy, romantic and dashing about the regency period. The rakes, the scoundrels, the ladies, they all make for a compelling story. I’m not saying I would have wanted to live in that period, but to visit would be wonderful. That’s why I enjoy immersing myself in a regency novel, to experience that time period.
