What does it mean to be a SEAL?
The best way to answer this question is to take a look at the Navy SEAL Ethos: http://www.navyseals.com/seal-ethos, which speaks to the qualities of courage, honor, and integrity.
Each day SEALS step up to the task of ‘earning’ their trident through their training and their performance.
Every day counts and it is not unusual to see these sailors pushing themselves farther and harder than ever before.
Personally, I admire their commitment and their willingness to put themselves constantly and continually on the line.
My husband, who is retired from the Teams, has taught me a lot about desire and drive, and how you can utilize it to reach a goal.
One of the reasons I am writing stories about Navy SEALS is to honor these dedicated men and the SEAL community. None of us rises alone, we tackle hurdles and reach for the goal together, bringing the best of ourselves to every occasion.
