Guest post by Terry Spear, author of A SEAL in Wolf’s Clothing

Now, first, I must make it perfectly clear that an alpha male and female wolf mate for life, and that my werewolves do the same. So what is this implying? That a she-wolf is straying?

Nope! This is Meara Greymere, Hunter’s sister, and they’re from the gorgeous coast of Oregon where they moved after a forest fire had burned the pack’s homes in California in To Tempt the Wolf.

In To Tempt the Wolf, Meara was searching for a mate, and several fans were hopeful that she would find one. But Hunter has always been an obstacle in her finding the right man to do the job. So now that his mate, Tessa, has convinced him to take her on a honeymoon to Hawaii, the she-wolf, Meara, is ready to play.

She has the whole plan worked out. Hunter and Tessa have left her in charge of the cabin resort on the coast, and she’s filling them up with bachelor alpha males—wolf types, as fast as she can because she has only two weeks to find the right guy with no interference from Hunter.

The plan’s working! Hunky alpha male, Bjornolf Jorgenson, arrives on the scene and she’s interested. Very interested. Until she realizes one of Hunter’s SEAL team mates is also in her cabin, Finn Emerson, and he’s there to protect her from danger. Yeah, you know, alpha male wolf line if you ever heard one, right?

But it’s true! He’s there to protect and to serve. And man does he know how to serve. She’s not about to fall for one of Hunter’s SEALs though. No way, Jose. Why? Because none of them have a settle-down-and-find-a-mate bone in their body. So he’s not even on her list of mateable prospects and there is no way he is going to mess this up for her.

Remember, she has only two weeks to look over a bevy of hunky alpha wolves before her brother returns and puts a halt to the whole thing.

But Finn has other ideas. She’s either crashing Hunter’s honeymoon where HE can protect her, not cool, or she is staying with Finn.

And staying with him is going to get her…and him, into a lot of hot water. Believe me. The sexual tension between the two is sizzling!!

It’s all my editor’s fault, really! Deb Werksman loved that Hunter was a SEAL in book 3, and so she remarked that it would be cool if he was part of a SEAL team of wolves. Yes!

I kept that in the back of my mind and when so many asked me to write Meara’s story, I knew it was perfect. Who better to tame her wild and impulsive ways but an equally wild and untameable SEAL? Ah yes, opposites attract, right? Or do they? Maybe two wild and impulsive wolves will do the trick. Or not.

Remember, he’s not settling down. The sea’s in his blood. And she’s definitely land bound.

And never the twain shall meet. Except when danger lurks and the sexual tension erupts and well, you just never know what will happen when the alpha male is away and the she-wolf comes out to play!

Would you be interested in playing with one hot SEAL of the alpha wolf variety?

A SEAL IN WOLF’S CLOTHING BY TERRY SPEAR – IN STORES MARCH 2012

Her instincts tell her he’s dangerous…

While her overprotective brother’s away, Meara Greymere’s planning to play—and it wouldn’t hurt to find herself a mate in the process. The last thing she needs is one of his SEAL buddies spoiling her fun, even if the guy is the hottest one she’s ever seen…

His powers of persuasion are impossible to resist…

Finn Emerson is a battle-hardened Navy SEAL and alpha wolf. He’s a little overqualified for baby-sitting, but feisty Meara is attracting trouble like a magnet…

As the only responsible alpha male in the vicinity, Finn is going to have to protect this intriguing woman from a horde of questionable men, and definitely from himself…

Hi Terry,

I hope you have a happy/safe trip. :) Wonder if there’ll be a room key mix-up at your hotel like in Legend of the White Wolf. Ask for room# 318. Ha-ha.

Thanks, Susan! That happened to someone in Shreveport at the conference, and it happened to me when I was at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria, VA. :( But if I got lucky with a wolf like Cameron, yum!!!! Well, I’m here, and only got lost in New Orleans. :) Turned around, meant to take a street and realized it was the one I wanted, and of course was in the wrong lane. So had to turn around again!!!

But I’m here! I need to write about a werewolf who has no sense of direction. Hmmm, should be easy to do! :)

Hey, Martha, wish you could come down here too. We’re thinking of going to a ghost bar. LOL :) Had wonderful shrimp and mushroom dinner while listening to people speak French and felt I was in France. Lots of fun. :)

I very much like the sound of a mate for life. An alpha SEAL wolf sounds very fitting. He’ll have lots of chance to show us what he’s made of ;)

Good Lord, a Seal of the Alpha Wolf variety ? I could play ALL day and night. :)
Great looking cover Terry. I love your Wolves and loved what I’ve read so far. I am definitely looking forward to reading A Seal In Wolf’s Clothing. Next to Highlander wolves I’m loving the Seals. They don’t get any more Alpha then that. Thanks for this great opportunity Terry.
