Ranger and Joe (the gorgeous bounty-hunter and the hunky cop respectively) are some of the most delicious good guys written up. Stephanie's grandmother is to die for, she'll leave you in stitches from laughing. Stephanie herself is a bounty hunter, and a pretty bad one at that, she manages to get by through a series of hilarious incidents, pure dumb luck, and some decent detective work on occasions. I read them in order and a friend of mine has read them out of order and says you can keep up. I agree, but personally love to read series in order.
